For a crisis or information on community behavioral health services, please call 1.800.643.5432. If you have general questions about Mount Nittany Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Services, you can call us at 814.234.6177.

Visitors are encouraged to visit during non-treatment times:

• Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
• Weekends and holidays, 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm

Alternate visitation times require prior approval by the treatment team.

All visitors must be approved by the patient, and only one visitor is allowed per patient at any time. Visitors must be 18 years old or older. All visitors must check in with staff upon arrival, and all items (clothing, personal items, gifts, etc.) brought for a patient will be inspected.

Visitors are not permitted to bring any personal items, including their cell phones, cameras, computers,or recording devices into the Behavioral Health Unit. Please leave these in the car or in one of the provided visitor lockers outside of the Behavioral Health Unit.

To ensure a confidential and therapeutic environment, visitors are not permitted to share information they observe or hear on the unit with others.
