Joan Hawbaker Brower’s Commitment to Mount Nittany Health
A longtime resident of Centre County, Joan recently made a transformative gift to Mount Nittany Medical Center, naming the surgical waiting area in the new Patient Tower. A Voice for Hope: Charlene Friedman
For Charlene Friedman, the mission of the Mount Nittany Health Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Centre County is deeply personal. As chair of the CAC Board of Directors and a passionate advocate, she understands firsthand the power of a safe space, a listening ear, and a compassionate support system. Her journey—marked by both personal experiences and an unwavering dedication—has shaped her commitment to ensuring that no child faces trauma alone.

Glenn and Lois Moyer have made a generous naming gift to the Mount Nittany Health Foundation in honor of their late son, Tobias “Toby” Moyer.
