About Me
Gregory M. Bailey, DO, is an expert orthopedic surgeon specializing in neurology, spinal anatomy, spinal biomechanics and spine disease. He focuses on improving patients' quality of life, using advanced training, hands-on experience and a caring approach to treat a wide range of spinal conditions.
Dr. Bailey started his medical journey at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He continued his studies at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and finished his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He shared his knowledge through presentations on spinal tumors, spinal cord trauma, pediatric scoliosis and upper cervical spine injuries. After his residency, Dr. Bailey pursued a spine fellowship at ViaHealth in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Bailey is proud to be part of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Osteopathic Surgeons. He stays updated on new developments in the field and is board certificated in orthopedic surgery.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, traveling and engaging with the State College community he has served for more than two decades.
